IT Security Specialist enhancing IT security operations for HomeServe in Germany. Driving strategy and collaborating with international stakeholders on compliance and best practices.
Responsibilities
You will lead the expansion and further development of IT security in Germany — from strategy to operational implementation
You will manage core security measures such as access controls, firewalls and cloud security (Azure) and provide hands-on operational support to the team
You will work closely with business units and international stakeholders, translate regulatory requirements (e.g., setting up SOC/MDR) and embed them into the German organization
You will regularly assess IT security processes at our sites (e.g., business continuity plans, risk analyses), identify improvements and oversee their implementation
You will establish a central security structure for HomeServe Germany, exchange best practices with the Group and contribute your own ideas to the long-term security strategy
You will be the point of contact for IT security matters and a driver for further developing the company’s security culture
Requirements
You have practical professional experience in IT security / information security
You have solid knowledge of network security, firewalls and ideally cloud security
You have experience working with regulatory requirements and common frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, BSI IT-Grundschutz); experience building SOC structures is a plus
You work in a structured way, can explain complex topics clearly and enjoy building new structures
You communicate confidently in German and English and are comfortable operating in an international environment
