Responsibilities
Develop, review, and oversee mechanical designs related to the construction of photovoltaic (solar) power plants;
Support specification, procurement, and inspection of materials and equipment;
Ensure compliance with technical standards, regulatory requirements, and safety regulations;
Monitor construction execution by conducting technical site visits and providing support to field teams;
Prepare technical reports and performance indicators for equipment and processes;
Collaborate with civil, electrical, and project engineering teams to promote multidisciplinary integration;
Support technical feasibility analyses and propose innovative solutions to optimize processes;
Interface with suppliers and contractors, ensuring quality and adherence to deadlines.
Requirements
Degree in Mechanical Engineering with active CREA registration (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia);
Experience in construction and assembly projects (preferably in power plants or large infrastructure projects);
Knowledge of applicable technical standards (ABNT, ASME, ISO, among others);
Proficiency in mechanical drafting and modeling software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar);
Ability to work both in the office and on-site;
Strong communication, negotiation, and teamwork skills;
Problem-solving ability and sound decision-making skills.
