Responsibilities
Responsible for the physical analytics of drug substances and drug products.
Utilize a wide range of analytical techniques such as XRD, DSC, TGA, DVS, LDP, and SEM.
Plan and execute studies, interpret and summarize results.
Draw scientifically sound conclusions and prepare documentation for regulatory submissions.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
Guide the work of research assistants in the Physical Analytical Laboratory.
Develop physical analytical laboratory activities and follow the international development.
Conduct laboratory work on site in Espoo.
Requirements
Master’s or preferably doctoral degree in physics, chemistry, pharmacy, or a related field.
Practical experience in physical analytics and solid‑state characterization.
Hands‑on experience working with solid, powdered materials.
Strong knowledge and proven hands‑on use of physical analytical techniques.
Willingness and ability to conduct regular laboratory work.
Accurate, reliable, and proactive working style with a “hands‑on” approach.
Ability to propose practical, science‑based solutions to identified problems.
Active and constructive participation in team processes and project work.
Fluent oral and written communication skills in English, with Finnish language skills considered as an advantage.
