About the role

  • QA Engineer ensuring quality and reliability for one of the world’s most popular browsers. Collaborating with developers, product managers, and designers throughout the entire development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Perform manual testing of browser features and services, including functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
  • Create and maintain test plans and test cases to ensure reliable product quality.
  • Identify, reproduce, and report defects while providing clear and detailed bug reports.
  • Verify bug fixes and conduct pre-release smoke testing to support stable releases.

Requirements

  • Solid understanding of manual testing practices, including test case execution, exploratory testing, regression testing, and defect reporting.
  • Basic knowledge of Python and JavaScript.
  • Ability to investigate issues, reproduce defects, and create clear and detailed bug reports.
  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD environments, or software release processes.
  • Interest in leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency and automate repetitive tasks in daily work (even in a primarily manual testing environment).
  • Strong sense of ownership and ability to work independently, you are comfortable taking initiative, navigating ambiguity, and driving tasks forward without detailed step-by-step guidance.
