About the role

  • Quality Assurance consultant ensuring quality in services at a growing tech consultancy. Collaborating with project teams to maintain high standards in various sector projects.

Responsibilities

  • Work on public and private sector projects
  • Act as a lead software quality engineer on internal and client-facing projects
  • Contribute to the leadership of teams
  • Support colleagues to develop knowledge and work through challenges in all testing types
  • Collaborate with team members, clients, and users to ensure quality is maintained
  • Adapt to different tools and technologies, advising on the best ones to use
  • Ensure work is carried out according to quality, environmental, and information security policies

Requirements

  • Experience working as a lead software tester on multiple complex projects
  • Good understanding of what it means to be a senior consultant
  • Functional and non-functional automation testing using Playwright with Typescript
  • Creating test documentation
  • Resolving complex issues and presenting findings to stakeholders
  • Creating tasks from high-level requirements
  • Defect triage
  • Basic principles of programming paradigms, such as object-orientated programming and procedural programming
  • Concepts and benefits of OAT testing
