About the role

  • Design and develop FPGA modules primarily in VHDL and deliver IP cores
  • Perform unit, functional, and integration tests on those IP cores
  • Collaborate with software, hardware, and application teams to ensure optimal compatibility
  • Participate in FPGA code reviews
  • Optimize performance, latency, and resource utilization of FPGA designs
  • Contribute to technical documentation and version control

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in microelectronics or electrical engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • 2 to 5 years of experience including successful implementation of FPGA projects
  • Knowledge of high-speed digital and sequential logic circuits
  • Experience with high-speed transceivers
  • Familiarity with Xilinx/AMD FPGA families (Versal, UltraScale, or Series-7)
  • Knowledge of communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, etc.
  • Experience with simulation and synthesis tools (Vivado or Quartus) (preferred)
  • Knowledge of PCIe bus architecture
  • French required
  • Good level of English for reading specialized/scientific literature not available in French
