About the role
- Design and develop FPGA modules primarily in VHDL and deliver IP cores
- Perform unit, functional, and integration tests on those IP cores
- Collaborate with software, hardware, and application teams to ensure optimal compatibility
- Participate in FPGA code reviews
- Optimize performance, latency, and resource utilization of FPGA designs
- Contribute to technical documentation and version control
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in microelectronics or electrical engineering (or equivalent experience)
- 2 to 5 years of experience including successful implementation of FPGA projects
- Knowledge of high-speed digital and sequential logic circuits
- Experience with high-speed transceivers
- Familiarity with Xilinx/AMD FPGA families (Versal, UltraScale, or Series-7)
- Knowledge of communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, etc.
- Experience with simulation and synthesis tools (Vivado or Quartus) (preferred)
- Knowledge of PCIe bus architecture
- French required
- Good level of English for reading specialized/scientific literature not available in French
