About the role

• Backend Developer responsible for Python/Django development and enhancing the MetaFlow API. Collaborating closely with team members to implement technical visions for app features.

Responsibilities

• You implement new features in the Python/Django environment and extend our REST API with new, high-performance endpoints
• You are responsible for data modeling and implementation in our PostgreSQL environment
• You write automated tests (pytest/unittest) and perform code reviews
• You take ownership of monitoring, bug fixing, and CI/CD maintenance
• You use AI-assisted development tools to increase development efficiency

Requirements

• 4–5 years of solid experience in Python development with Django on production-grade, complex software projects
• Deep understanding of RESTful API design, ORMs, data migrations, and Clean Code principles (SOLID, design patterns)
• Hands-on experience with Git, Docker, relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL), and modern CI/CD tooling
• Confident communication skills in German (C1) and English (B1/B2)
• Nice-to-have: experience with Celery/Redis, monitoring tools (Sentry), or knowledge of React Native
