About the role

Senior Project Manager leading cross-functional teams to manage innovation product development at OLAPLEX. Driving project execution and ensuring timely delivery of product initiatives.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage activities across Product Development, Operations, Marketing, Sales, Education, IT, and Finance to ensure excellence in on-time execution for NPD and Non-NPD projects globally.
Design and own strategic project plans, identifying critical path and accounting for cross-functional interdependencies.
Clearly document and drive milestone adherence across teams. Set due dates/make revisions as needed, and own follow up to ensure tasks are met or contingencies developed.
Identify and propose contingency plans as needed to keep initiatives on-time, in-scope, and in-budget, while managing risk.
Lead and facilitate regular cross-functional team meetings, coordinating activities across various team members to create and execute necessary timelines and activities.
Proactively identify risks. Counter-act and press for decisions in order to execute on-time and within quality expectations.
Prioritize tasks, adjust workflow, and cross-functional teams to move projects forward.
Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities, creating and refining best practices and processes for successful project execution.
Serve as point of contact in between formal project meetings to drive communication and action where needed to support project execution.
Communicate project status updates, actions, and risks to the executive team.

Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in either R&D or Supply Chain
7+ years of experience in process/project management across global teams, and/or concentration of R&D or Supply Chain.
Strong understanding of project management foundations, experience with stage-gate process strongly preferred
Skilled problem-solver who drives out-of-the-box thinking when appropriate
Adept at operating autonomously amidst ambiguity
Ability to lead and influence without being the direct manager of all team members
Excellent organizational, management, and communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
