About the role

Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers with engineering design for water and wastewater facilities, requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to carry out engineering tasks
- Perform technical engineering work associated with water and wastewater engineering
- Prepare engineering reports and feasibility studies
- Prepare engineering-related calculations and visual aids
- Develop hydraulic models and perform engineering analysis
- Participate in field investigations
- Prepare design drawings, plans, sections, details, and profiles
- Complete various permitting applications
- Attend meetings with officials, engineers, and contractors
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an ABET-accredited institution in Civil or Environmental Engineering with an emphasis in water/wastewater or other related field
- Engineer-in-Training (EI T) preferred
- 2-5 years of experience in water & wastewater or related civil engineering projects, including design, analysis, and studies
- Proficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred
- Familiar with computer models for hydraulic system analysis
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
