About the role

  • Accounting Manager leading accounting operations and financial reporting at ODK Media, Inc. Overseeing month-end close and compliance across a multi-entity structure.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the full month-end and year-end close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation across multiple legal entities.
  • Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of billing, collections, and payment processing.
  • Prepare and review consolidated and entity-level financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Lead the preparation of borrowing base certificates and support treasury functions including cash forecasting, daily bank reconciliations, and ABL facility compliance.
  • Manage intercompany accounting, eliminations, and reconciliations across all entities.
  • Oversee withholding tax calculations and filings, payroll reconciliation, and royalty/revenue share reporting for content providers.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for annual audits and tax filings, coordinating with external auditors and advisors.
  • Administer and optimize NetSuite ERP, including saved searches, reporting, and workflow improvements.
  • Lead and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance on technical accounting matters and process execution.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of accounting operations.
  • Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to senior management and investors as needed.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP is required.
  • CPA is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with multi-entity consolidations and intercompany accounting.
  • Advanced proficiency in NetSuite and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP administration is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with audit preparation, borrowing base reporting, or treasury operations is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Bilingual in Korean preferred.
  • Ability to work in person Monday through Thursday at our Irvine, CA office.
