About the role
- Physical Therapy Assistant providing in-home physical therapy visits. Collaborating with PTs and local clinical teams to improve patient mobility in Alameda County.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-home physical therapy treatments under PT supervision
- Help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safe movement
- Complete visit documentation in a timely manner
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the supervising PT
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited PTA program
- Active California PTA license
- CPR/BLS certification
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally around Alameda County
- Home health experience
- Experience with the Kinnser/Wellsky EMR preferred (not required)
