About the role
- Parks Data Analyst supporting Oakland County Parks and Recreation through data collection and analysis. Collaborating on strategic planning for park operations, programming, and marketing.
Responsibilities
- Gather data, monitor performance, and support strategic planning
- Analyze and interpret data from POS systems, web analytics, surveys, financial reports, GIS platforms, and external sources
- Develop clear and visually compelling reports, charts, dashboards, and graphics to support decision-making
- Collaborate with parks leadership and cross-functional teams to understand analytic needs and provide actionable insights
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, statistics, data science, computer science, mathematics, parks and recreation or related field of study
- At least three (3) years of experience in data analysis projects
- Associate’s degree or equivalent amount of education from an accredited college or university with course work in statistics, database management, data analytics, or website management
- At least five (5) years of experience in related data analysis projects
