About the role

Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance existing Metis Reference services
- Ensure smooth data ingestion and reliable customer delivery
- Contribute to the ongoing development of OAG's reference data architecture
- Support and evolve the OAG Metis Direct solution
- Participate in planning, prioritizing, and coordinating development tasks within an Agile team
- Actively share domain knowledge, architectural decisions, and technical insights with teammates
- Stay up to date with evolving technologies, tools, and best practices.
Requirements
- A mindset of continuous learning
- Experience working with databases, writing and troubleshooting complex SQL queries
- Experience with object-oriented development using C# or Python
- Experience with cloud providers such as Azure or any other cloud service provider
- Knowledge of best practices: clean code, SOLID, TDD, design patterns, code smells
- Hands-on experience using unit testing frameworks
- Experience building Continuous Integration pipelines and Delivering Continuously (CI/CD)
- Experience working in Agile environments driven by methodologies like Scrum or Kanban
