About the role
- Seeking experienced Senior Project Manager to lead software development projects in Poland. Manage project lifecycles, collaborate with diverse teams, and ensure on-time delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of a complex software development initiative.
- Own the end-to-end project lifecycle—from scoping and planning through execution, release, and post-delivery review.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including software engineers, architects, QA, UX/UI designers, and business stakeholders.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders and technical leads.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocations, and budgets using tools such as Azure DevOps and Microsoft Project.
- Drive end-to-end delivery of software projects using Agile (Scrum/Kanban) methodologies.
- Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies; define and execute mitigation strategies proactively.
- Act as the primary point of contact between technical delivery teams and business stakeholders, translating business requirements into actionable technical work.
- Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and steering committee meetings with external project sponsors.
- Provide regular, transparent project status reporting to senior leadership and external parties including progress, risks, financials, and key decisions.
Requirements
- Minimum 7+ years of project management experience, with at least 4 years managing software development projects in a senior capacity.
- Proven track record of delivering enterprise-scale software projects on time and within budget.
- Strong experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and familiarity with waterfall/hybrid delivery models.
- Hands-on experience with project management tooling such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or equivalent project management certification (required).
