About the role

  • Supports the development of performance marketing projects in a flexible, collaborative environment at Northern Trust. Engages in cross-functional teamwork and utilizes analytics to enhance campaign performance.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the development and implementation of performance marketing projects
  • Collaborates with cross-functional internal teams to create Key Performance Indicator frameworks, PowerBI dashboard requirements, and marketing tech data architecture
  • Supports the development of marketing data connectivity
  • Uses data analytics and digital platforms to track and measure the performance of campaigns
  • Monitors industry trends in performance marketing techniques
  • Works closely with technology partners to connect data sources with marketing data warehouse and reporting platforms
  • Continues to build knowledge of the company, marketing strategies and campaign development

Requirements

  • 1 - 3 years of working knowledge and experience in performance marketing or a related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field is highly preferred
  • Expanded conceptual knowledge of marketing principles and strategies
  • Working knowledge in digital marketing strategies and content marketing
  • Experience with marketing software, automation tools, and metrics platforms
  • Experience with project management, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience analyzing data
  • Experience building dashboards in PowerBI
