Responsibilities
- Monitoring and proactive troubleshooting of Akamai's 24/7 platform, network traffic, threats and alerts
- Collaborating with internal and external cross-functional teams to resolve platform affecting issues
- Administering automated software deployments to the distributed platform to maintain and ensure stability and security
- Ensuring platform issues are clearly tracked, updated and documented
Requirements
- Have knowledge of Linux and or Unix system administration
- Have a practical understanding of Computer Networks (routing/switching)
- Have a good knowledge of TCP/IP in internetworking communications
- Possess analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to gather, synthesize and summarize data
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
