About the role
- AI/ML Engineer applying AI/ML techniques in hardware manufacturing for yield prediction and process improvement. Collaborating on research and deployment of machine learning models.
Responsibilities
- Understand the use cases where AI/ML is applicable.
- Research, develop and evaluate different AI/ML models for different use cases related to manufacturing of PICs and Pluggables to improve their Yield, Testing and Calibration process.

Requirements
- Familiarity with common AI/ML methods such as : Linear regression, XGBOOST, LightGBM etc. Experience in working with imbalanced data is greatly useful.
- Familiarity with deep neural networks : CNNs, LSTM/RNN, transformers. Experience with object detection is greatly useful.
- Familiarity with MLOPS pipelines and tools.
- Experience in coding using sklearn/xgboost/lightgbm and pytorch/tensorflow.
- Experience building scalable LLM applications using tools such as VLLM and understanding their structure.
- B.Tech with 4-5 years/M.Tech with 2-3 years of industry experience and with prior experience with application of AI/ML to solve industry problems.
