Systems Engineer developing safety and security embedded systems for diverse industries. Collaborating on projects involving medical, automotive, and industrial applications.
Responsibilities
You work on new developments and enhancements of safety-critical systems across various industries.
You advance exciting topics within small to large project teams and, together with your colleagues, develop safety-critical systems such as an orthosis control system (medical), video solutions for partially automated driving (automotive), a new generation of elevators (industrial), and much more.
You contribute your existing expertise at the right stages, for example in creating and implementing system and safety concepts, modeling system architectures and designs, and requirements engineering; at the interface to functional safety and security to support safety analyses and the selection of risk-reducing measures; in planning system integration and verification; and in handling projects in a process- and standards-compliant manner.
You communicate directly with clients on a technical level to collaboratively develop innovative products.
Requirements
Ideally, a completed degree in a technical or natural science field (e.g. systems engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, medical engineering, information technology, mechatronics, mathematics, physics, biology) or a comparable qualification.
Experience in applying and implementing development processes (IEC 61508, ISO 26262, IEC 60601, EN ISO 13485).
Ideally, experience in systems engineering (ISO/IEC 15288) and modeling systems with UML/SysML.
Experience in the safety domain and in developing embedded systems is desirable.
Creativity, strong analytical skills, and a systematic approach.
Team player, strong communication skills, and self-initiative.
Excellent written and spoken German and English.
