About the role
- Functional Safety Consultant overseeing safety-related engineering projects at NewTec. Leading multi-project management and ensuring quality in safety compliance across various industries.
Responsibilities
- Independent responsibility for leading consulting projects (multi-project management)
- Analyses and process consulting
- Conceptual consulting and project support
- Concept reviews; conducting audits and assessments
- Allocation and coordination of project staff
- Management of functional safety in projects (FSM)
- Business development for the clients you support
- Technical evaluation of quality and approval of deliverables
- Effort estimates for consulting projects and subprojects
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience in engineering safety-relevant projects and the underlying methods and processes (risk analyses, FMEA, FMEDA, FTA, ...)
- Solid knowledge of one of the leading safety standards IEC 61508, DIN EN ISO 13849, ISO/SAE 26262, or equivalent
- Proof of a valid certificate in the safety context (e.g., TÜV, Dekra) desirable
- Experience in consulting on safety projects
- Strong experience in self- and project management and the application of appropriate methods (e.g., GTD, IPMA, GPM, PRINCE2...)
- Team player, strong communication skills, and a high degree of initiative
- Very good written and spoken German and English
