About the role

Responsibilities
- Overseeing the entirety of our accounting records
- Handling tax filings with BIR
- Managing the monthly salary process and payroll
- Proactively identifying and resolving potential compliance issues
- Maintaining regular communication with BIR and other government agencies to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
- Collaborating with other teams to achieve common objectives
- Supervising local accounting third-party providers, including tax-related matters
- Coordinating local banking activities, including KYC procedures
- Serving as the primary point of contact for any local accounts payable issues
Requirements
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in accountancy or finance
- Experience in internal audit and familiarity with BIR procedures
- At least 1-3 years of relevant experience as an Accountant
- A thorough understanding of BIR filing requirements, staying updated with the current TRAIN Law
- Consistency, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment
