About the role
- Frontend Software Architect leading development of eCommerce web solutions. Operate within Nespresso Digital Commerce, contributing to high-volume and diverse web traffic.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of frontend software for Nespresso Digital Commerce web solutions.
- Operate in a direct-to-customer environment characterized by high volumes of traffic.
- Transform business requirements into seamless user interfaces and guide software development teams.
- Analyze, design, and develop eCommerce web solutions for Nespresso Digital Commerce products.
- Provide technical leadership to cross-functional delivery teams.
- Drive the vision for the new frontend software architecture.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- More than 8 years of experience in the relevant area of expertise.
- Ideal experience of 3-5 years as a developer, 3-5 years as a software architect.
- Proficient in HTML, CSS (SASS/SCSS), and JavaScript.
- Strong expertise in React/Next.js.
- Experience with testing tools such as Jest/Vitest.
- Familiarity with Git, JIRA, Bitbucket, and Confluence.
- Effectively communicate in English at different levels in the organization.
- Extra skills in Figma and Storybook for design and development synchronization.
