About the role

  • Business Systems Analyst II coordinating and conducting complex system analyses at Navy Federal. Enhancing business processes through technology and data acquisition and modeling.

Responsibilities

  • To coordinate and conduct moderately complex system analyses through data acquisition and modeling.
  • To Identify, coordinate, document, and implement business requirements by determining solutions that enhance business systems, as well as provides support to business operations and processes under general supervision.
  • To analyze business needs to develop and implement solutions that leverage systems and processes with a moderate degree of latitude.
  • Work with the business to understand their needs, related to information technology and enhance business process by promoting new functionality.
  • Using working knowledge of the organization's technology infrastructure and specific software applications, assist the business to implement strategic vision through technology.

Requirements

  • Experience in problem resolution including determining root cause, scope and scale of issues
  • Experience in the application of statistical methods, mathematical techniques, forecasting, cost-benefit analysis and related analytical tools
  • Experience in leading collaborative work teams
  • Experience in leading projects and/or initiatives of small to medium scope
  • Experience in managing multiple priorities independently and/or in a team environment to achieve goals
  • Working knowledge of data querying, reporting, forecasting, analysis and operations research, including statistical methods and modeling
  • Experience that demonstrates the ability to research, compile, and document data, business processes, and workflow
  • Experience in market/consumer research, project management, and analysis in support of strategic planning initiatives
  • Experience in SQL and VBA database languages
  • Navy Federal Project Portfolio Management (PPM) knowledge
  • Navy Federal products, services, programs, policies and procedures Bank Secrecy
  • Effective research, analytical, and problem solving skills
  • Effective organizational, planning and time management skills
  • Effective skill following, interpreting and applying relevant data/instructions to guidelines, procedures, practices and regulations
