Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of approximately 60 cases, ensuring no attorney exceeds 80 cases.
- Serve as the primary contact for clients, addressing issues and concerns as they arise.
- Handle all aspects of cases, including hearings and trials, with a focus on in-person trial readiness.
- Collaborate with a dedicated Legal Assistant for administrative support, including drafting and scheduling.
- Maintain accurate records of billable hours, targeting 200 hours per month.
- Respond to client communications within 24 hours to foster strong relationships.
- Travel within the area for trials, primarily in Southern California, as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Workers Compensation defense.
- Proven ability to go to trial in person is essential.
- Trial experience is highly preferred, with interest in understanding prior case management.
- Must be barred in California.
