Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the workload and performance of the engineering team
- Run daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives

- Ensure high-quality and timely delivery of projects and features
- Be a player Coach by providing hands on support in feature delivery, bug fixes, and critical development tasks when necessary
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering leaders to align priorities and ensure successful execution
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team
- Drive team engagement, performance reviews, and professional development of team members
- Implement and improve engineering best practices and agile processes
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in software development
- 2+ years in a leadership/management role of a team of engineers
- Proven experience leading distributed or remote engineering teams
- Technical background with hands-on programming experience
- Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
- 5+ years of experience working with Rails and React
- Ability to provide technical guidance and hands-on support when needed
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with global stakeholders
- Experience in the real estate tech or related industries is a plus
- Familiarity with creating, documenting, and maintaining requirements in tools like Jira and Confluence
