Responsibilities
Assist lead systems engineers with post-sales technical support
Work with a team that includes product engineers, systems engineers, program managers, sales, and system integrators
Assist senior systems engineers with activities such as conducting customer needs assessments and evaluations
Perform RF coverage and interference prediction and testing
Design equipment layouts and antenna configurations
Determine RF link budgets and telecommunications requirements
Conduct operational testing; design and configure communication networks
Integrate applications and design IP networks
Begin with training followed by hands-on project assignments.
Requirements
High school diploma required
Must be pursuing at least a Bachelor's degree (electrical engineering or other engineering/technical discipline) with an expected graduation date of December 2026 or later
Knowledge of RF propagation, wireless networks, microwave, and/or telecommunications is an asset
Knowledge or certification related to IP communication (MPLS, Ethernet, TCP/IP) is an asset
Ability to present technical material to non-technical audiences
Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A desire to explore, understand, and contribute to systems engineering practice at Motorola Solutions
Proficiency in spoken and written French is preferred
Must have a valid passport for international travel
Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
