Lead Engineer for testing and documentation in the development of Europe’s first certified Level-4 autonomous system at MOTOR Ai startup. Focused on validating complex automotive technology with a hybrid work approach.
Responsibilities
Manage team capacity and competency planning
Develop and own system verification and integration plans
Define clear acceptance criteria for system requirements
Create and execute detailed test cases to validate systems
Lead the overall validation and verification strategy
Drive test automation
Support and maintain test infrastructure, equipment, and tools
Analyze test results, identify risks, and communicate key metrics to stakeholders
Requirements
Degree in Engineering (Software, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics) or another relevant technical field
At least seven years of hands-on testing experience in Automotive ADAS
Experience leading initiatives and fostering collaboration across functional teams
Practical experience in verification and validation of safety-critical systems according to ISO 26262
Strong hands-on programming and scripting skills in C++ and Python or a comparable language used in this domain
Practical experience developing test automation and performing Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing
Solid knowledge of automotive communication protocols, including CAN and Ethernet
Strong understanding of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and their core concepts
Practical experience with ASPICE and agile development methodologies
Practical experience with simulation platforms such as CARLA and middleware like ROS2 is a plus
Experience or familiarity with Adaptive AUTOSAR and the QNX operating system
