About the role

  • Senior Market Intelligence Analyst at Motiva, enhancing air travel market strategies through data-driven insights. Collaborating on analytical projects and supporting commercial planning for the mobility sector.

Responsibilities

  • Elevate the quality and speed of analytical responses to support negotiation cycles with airlines, internal feasibility studies, and logistics operators.
  • Support the Commercial Planning area in structuring economic feasibility projects related to the revenue streams managed by the area.
  • Integrate multiple datasets (SIROS, SISCOMEX, OAG, SABRE, ANAC, etc.) into data processing and visualization workflows, ensuring data accuracy and governance.
  • Support route and capacity expansion with robust business cases (scenarios, sensitivity analyses, risks). Increase predictability of results in Incentive Programs through models for demand estimation, revenue (yield), and market share.
  • Monitor supply, demand, competitive strategy, and the behavior of the air travel and airport markets.
  • Consolidate and process data from SIROS, OAG, SABRE, ANAC, IBGE, and other sources, with technical documentation of routines.
  • Produce executive dashboards (Power BI/Excel) and materials for meetings with airlines, operators, trade organizations, and public agencies.
  • Build and update market studies and business cases with quantitative analyses (modeling, scenarios) and qualitative assessments (trends, risks).
  • Track KPIs: supply, demand, load factor, market share, estimated yield, competitors; propose improvement actions.
  • Measure results of Incentive Programs and suggest adjustments to allocation and eligibility.
  • Analyze seasonality and macro-trends (holidays, events, exchange rates, ICMS/QAV) and propose future scenarios.
  • Support interactions with airlines, logistics companies, and stakeholders with data, studies, and simulations.
  • Stay updated on regulation (slots, ICMS/QAV, incentives) and support impact analyses.
  • Support the commercial specialists for passenger and cargo aviation business in client meetings, when necessary.
  • Incorporate AI into daily work to optimize material production and support the development of agents that increase efficiency for the area.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Data Science/Data Engineering
  • Advanced knowledge of Power BI (data modeling, DAX, and Power Query) and Microsoft Office (focus on PowerPoint for executive storytelling)
  • Experience in data analysis, data cleaning and consolidation, documenting assumptions, and developing business cases
  • Knowledge of corporate finance and economic-financial project evaluation (VPL/NPV, TIR/IRR, payback, sensitivity analysis) applied to demand projection and project economic viability.
  • Specialization in Data Analytics, Aviation, Network/Route Planning, Air Cargo Logistics, or related fields
  • Knowledge of the aviation, logistics, airports, and cargo sectors; familiarity with SIROS, OAG, SABRE, ANAC, IBGE
  • Data/modeling skills: SQL/Python; basic knowledge of network planning and airline marketing.
