Responsibilities
Understand customers’ needs to determine the best solution for them.
Follow up to meet established service level agreements.
Stay well informed and up to date about current and prospective customers to uncover sales opportunities.
Keep abreast of Solutions Moneris’ products, services, pricing and ongoing marketing activities, as well as competitors’ products, pricing, strengths and areas for improvement.
Keep up with industry trends to assist in educating merchants.
Manage inbound sales calls as well as partner-generated leads.
Requirements
Postsecondary education in business, commerce, marketing, or a related field.
Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience prospecting new businesses, negotiating, and selling in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and a proven ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) and influence others.
Strong computer skills and excellent analytical ability.
Good working knowledge of Windows.
Proficiency in both English and French (written and spoken).
1+ year of experience in the payments industry is an asset.
