About the role

  • Behavioral Health Therapist Associate providing clinical assessments for individuals in Urgent Care. Supporting individuals and families impacted by mental health and substance use disorders.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical assessment to determine behavioral health and substance use services needed
  • Maintain therapeutic and safe environment for individuals receiving services
  • Participate in team meetings and discharge planning
  • Serve as a resource for non-licensed staff
  • Perform interviews to aid in identifying presenting problems
  • Provide expertise in assessing psychiatric crises
  • Maintain necessary medical records
  • Assist individuals and families with psychosocial needs
  • Provide crisis assessments and service coordination
  • Attend educational trainings/seminars
  • Maintain positive working relationships within communities
  • Participate in ongoing continuous quality improvement activities
  • Provide clinical consultation as required

Requirements

  • Must have one of the following minimum qualifications: LCSW-A, LCMHC-A, LMFT-A
  • Masters: Human Services (Required)
  • Counseling/Therapy Experience | Not Required
  • Experience in a crisis management setting or service during which the individual provided crisis response | 1 Year | Required
