Responsibilities
You independently manage the fresh and service counters in your assigned HIT store
You ensure product availability and that sales and inventory figures within your area of responsibility are correct
Together with your team, you present merchandise attractively
You advise and serve customers — acting as a role model for your team
You are responsible for the service counters and ensure optimal performance of the associated refrigerated shelves and freezers
Through careful staff scheduling and your ability to motivate, develop, and inspire employees, you ensure smooth operations
Requirements
Completed training as a specialist sales assistant in the fresh food sector or as a butcher
Ideally a master craftsman (Meister) certificate in the butchery trade or further training as a meat or cheese sommelier
Preferably some initial leadership experience in service counters
Very good knowledge of a wide range of sausage, meat, cheese, and fish products
Outgoing, responsible team-player personality
