Responsibilities

• As a Senior Claims Consultant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate claims processing

Requirements

• Proficient in managing complex construction claims through thorough interpretation of coverage, and education on risk solutions, while effectively advocating for clients
• Extensive experience in handling intricate construction claims, showcasing a deep understanding of industry-specific challenges and the ability to develop innovative solutions
• Skilled in leading claim reviews and educating clients and teams on best practices, with a strong ability to participate in client meetings to deliver tailored claims management services
• Adept at collaborating with internal teams to develop and implement customized service strategies, fostering strong relationships, analyzing insurance needs, and ensuring timely execution of service plans to achieve measurable value and efficiency
• Experienced in following client service workflows, utilizing internal resources for enhanced efficiency, maintaining accurate client files, and ensuring data completeness by consistently meeting timelines and quality standards
• 5+ years of experience in claims handling within an agency or similar environment, with a proven track record of success in senior roles is a plus, but not required
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school is a plus, but not required
• AIC, CIC, CPCU, SCLA or other related professional designation is a plus, but not required
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is a plus, but not required
