About the role
- BI Analyst responsible for ETL development and management of dashboards in Power BI at Minsait, driving data insights across various sectors.
Responsibilities
- Develop, monitor and optimize ETL routines, ensuring data integrity and availability
- Create, maintain and evolve dashboards, reports and executive summaries in Power BI
- Model data using Star Schema and Snowflake Schema, ensuring performance and analytical clarity
- Perform exploratory analyses and produce reports to support strategic decision-making
- Develop data visualizations and KPIs, applying design best practices and data storytelling
- Use Power Query and DAX at an advanced level for data transformation and metric calculations
- Apply Python and SQL for data processing, automation and analysis
- Ensure the quality, consistency and evolution of BI data and processes
- Lead executive presentations, translating technical analyses for diverse audiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Experience developing and monitoring ETL routines
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Power BI
- Advanced knowledge of Power Query and DAX
- Intermediate knowledge of Python
- Intermediate knowledge of SQL
- Experience creating dashboards, reports and analytical visualizations
- Knowledge of data storytelling and visualization design
- Experience in dimensional data modeling (Star Schema and Snowflake)
- Ability to conceptualize and build KPIs and analytical views
- Familiarity with ETL tools such as PDI, Apache Hop, ODI or similar (preferred)
- Knowledge of Big Data, including tools such as NiFi, Kafka or Airflow (preferred)
- Basic knowledge of Java (preferred)
- Knowledge of Spark (PySpark/Scala) (preferred)
- Familiarity with Git/GitLab (preferred)
- Knowledge of Oracle and/or MySQL (preferred)
- Analytical profile, strong communication, organizational skills and results-oriented mindset.
