About the role

  • Mobile Android Developer at Minsait responsible for developing and maintaining Android applications. Collaborating with teams to implement new functionalities and improve software quality.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and develop mobile Android systems, including creating and maintaining automated tests.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, create and deliver new features for Android applications.
  • Ensure code reliability, quality and robustness by following development best practices.
  • Execute tests, identify and fix errors and bugs, optimizing application performance and stability.
  • Research, evaluate and implement new technologies and technical solutions to maximize development efficiency.
  • Configure, build and deploy the application across different environments (development, staging and production).
  • Monitor and support production rollouts, ensuring the solution operates correctly.
  • Ensure project delivery in a dynamic, collaborative and deadline-driven development environment.
  • Participate in technical planning, contributing proposals for improvements and the evolution of the mobile architecture.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Senior Android Developer.
  • Proficiency in Java and Kotlin for Android development.
  • Solid knowledge of Android components: Activities, Fragments, Views and Layouts.
  • Experience with local persistence: SharedPreferences, Room and/or SQLite.
  • Consumption of REST/JSON APIs.
  • Advanced knowledge of Gradle (Build Variants, Tasks, etc.).
  • Advanced knowledge of Git Flow.
  • Proficiency in mobile architectures: MVC, MVP and MVVM.
  • Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Experience with Play Store deployment.
  • Advanced knowledge of automated testing.
  • Practical application of S.O.L.I.D principles.
  • Ability to design and define mobile architecture.
  • Planning and proposing new technical solutions.
