Responsibilities
- We are seeking a strong Java Backend Developer with hands-on experience building cloud native backend systems and enterprise integrations using Azure Logic Apps and related Azure integration services
- This role blends core Java engineering with event-driven and API-based integration design in Microsoft Azure
- You will work closely with architects, integration engineers, and product teams to design, build, and operate scalable backend and integration solutions
Requirements
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend services using modern frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security)
- Build RESTful APIs and backend components with a focus on performance, security, and maintainability
- Implement business logic, validation, and data access layers
- Write clean, testable, and well-documented code following best practices
- Design and implement integration workflows using Azure Logic Apps
- Integrate backend services with external systems, SaaS platforms, and third-party APIs
- Work with Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, and/or Event Hubs for messaging and event-driven architectures
- Collaborate on hybrid integrations (cloud ↔ on-premises) when required
- Implement error handling, retries, monitoring, and alerting for integration workflows
- Strong proficiency in Java (Java 11+)
- Experience with Spring Boot and related Spring ecosystem projects
- Solid understanding REST APIs, Microservices architecture, Multithreading & concurrency
- Experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- Hands-on experience with Azure Logic Apps
- Experience with API-based and message-based integrations
- Working knowledge of Azure Service Bus (queues, topics, subscriptions), Azure Functions, Azure API Management (APIM), Azure Key Vault
- Strong understanding of JSON, XML, and HTTP
- Experience with OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect
- Secure API design and authentication/authorization strategies
- Managed identities and secure secret handling
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204) or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
