About the role
- Agile Project Manager leading key IT and digital transformation projects for a US-based client in a hybrid manner. Ensuring Agile delivery and coaching teams in Guadalajara, Mexico.
Responsibilities
- Lead implementation and delivery of key IT and digital transformation projects.
- Develop and execute complex project and delivery plans.
- Ensure successful value delivery aligned with business objectives.
- Facilitate ART events and ceremonies, including:
- - PI Planning
- - Scrum of Scrums
- - ART Sync
- - Inspect & Adapt
- Ensure adherence to SAFe principles and Agile best practices.
- Collaborate with Product Management and stakeholders to:
- - Maintain and prioritize ART backlog
- - Align delivery with strategic business goals
- - Ensure continuous value delivery
- Identify and mitigate cross-team risks and dependencies.
- Escalate impediments and drive resolution.
- Coordinate release planning and execution with technical and business teams.
- Communicate release status and delivery health to stakeholders.
- Use Agile metrics and delivery data to:
- - Identify improvement opportunities
- - Optimize ART performance
- - Improve delivery predictability and flow
- Facilitate retrospectives and improvement initiatives.
- Provide regular updates on delivery progress, risks, and issues.
- Ensure transparency across teams and leadership.
- Support product demos and feedback cycles.
- Coach teams and stakeholders in SAFe and Agile mindset adoption.
- Promote continuous learning and improvement culture.
- Support Agile maturity growth across teams.
- Evaluate and improve Agile processes and workflows.
- Leverage Agile tools and metrics for data-driven decision making.
Requirements
- Advanced English proficiency is required, as the role involves daily interaction with U.S.-based manager and stakeholders.
- Availability to work in a hybrid manner at our offices in Guadalajara, Mexico at Midtown Jalisco.
- 5+ years working as:
- - Agile Project Manager
- - Scrum Master
- - Release Train Engineer (RTE)
- - Agile Program / Delivery Lead
- Proven experience working in SAFe environments.
- Experience supporting large-scale Agile delivery across multiple teams.
- Strong experience facilitating:
- - PI Planning
- - ART ceremonies
- - Cross-team coordination
- Strong Agile coaching and mentoring skills.
- SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) — Required
- Additional certifications are a plus:
- - SAFe RTE
- - SAFe Scrum Master
- - PMP / PgMP or equivalent
- Strong experience with:
- - Azure DevOps (or similar ALM tools)
- - Agile delivery tracking tools
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and release processes is a plus.
