About the role

  • Einkäufer specializing in construction and planning services for Messe Berlin. Conducting procurement processes and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible execution of EU-wide procurement procedures
  • Support from the identification of needs through to contract award
  • Technical and cost-related plausibility checks/review of specifications (tender documents), handling of change orders
  • Procurement-related support of specialist departments for the assigned product group focuses

Requirements

  • Degree in civil engineering, architecture or another relevant field of study
  • Several years of relevant professional experience
  • Professional experience in the construction sector and/or in procuring construction services
  • Good knowledge of relevant legal regulations (e.g., VOB/A, BGB, GWB, HOAI)
  • Very good German language skills (at least C1)
  • Good English skills
  • Very good user skills and experience with standard software, including the MS Office suite, and user experience with SAP S/4 and AVA software
