About the role

  • Financial Analyst responsible for cash flow analysis and KPI management at Mercedes-Benz. Involved in financial planning and performance monitoring with a focus on reporting and decision support for executives.

Responsibilities

  • Financial analysis of cash flow results using the indirect method and associated KPIs (CFBIT, CCC, CCR, ROCE) through short-term (forecast) and long-term estimates;
  • Projection of working capital and its impacts on CCC and CCR;
  • Support for impairment calculation;
  • Cash flow consolidation (LAMEA - Latin America, Middle East and Africa);
  • Liaison with logistics and sales teams to monitor inventory levels and provide financial guidance;
  • Participation in financial review processes with the CFO and finance leadership;
  • Responsible for planning and monitoring cash flow results through short-term estimates (Rolling Forecast) and long-term estimates (Strategic Plan);
  • Participation in the digitization and automation of Results Controlling reports, ensuring faster delivery and greater transparency of information;
  • Ability to simplify complex data into clear narratives for executives (Financial Storytelling).

Requirements

  • University degree (preferably in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields);
  • Advanced English;
  • Strong knowledge of integrated financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow);
  • Mastery of the indirect cash flow method (EBIT → CFBIT → working capital changes → Free Cash Flow);
  • In-depth knowledge of Working Capital (inventory, accounts receivable and accounts payable);
  • Practical experience in analyzing and managing financial KPIs such as CFBIT / CCC (Cash Conversion Cycle) / CCR (Cash Conversion Rate) / ROCE (Return on Capital Employed);
  • Familiarity with SAP (FI/CO);
  • Previous experience in cash flow planning, monitoring and performance management;
  • Strong data analysis skills, with advanced Excel or similar tools to consolidate, compare and interpret information;
  • Experience preparing management reports and supporting decision-making.
