About the role
- RCG is seeking a Junior Risk Analyst for supporting risk assessment reports and inspecions. Applicants should have expertise in engineering with basic English and Spanish skills.
Responsibilities
- Collect data for risk analysis studies by gathering and analyzing information on the physical and operational characteristics of areas and processes through field visits, meetings, and document review, providing a solid and comprehensive basis for risk analysis services and ensuring accurate, well-founded assessments.
- Prepare reports of completed studies, producing detailed documents that summarize the methods, results, and conclusions of the analyses to provide a clear and precise overview of the work conducted, facilitating communication of results and evidence-based decision making.
- Provide support for the preparation of maps/drawings in AutoCAD, assisting in the creation and review of maps and technical drawings in AutoCAD according to the specifications of the risk analysis study, ensuring graphical representations are accurate and up to date to aid analysis and implementation of risk mitigation measures.
- Provide ad-hoc support for other ongoing tasks, assisting with tasks and projects as requested and adapting to the specific needs of each situation to contribute to successful project completion and operational efficiency, meeting the varied demands of the team and company.
- Propose and implement improvements to developed processes by identifying areas for enhancement based on performance analysis and feedback, and proposing and implementing changes in existing processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring better outcomes and greater alignment with company objectives.
- Perform other related professional activities inherent to the role as needed and/or requested by the department, including training, professional development, and guidance from the immediate supervisor, to ensure ongoing professional growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience with low-complexity risk inspections
- Basic Spanish
- Intermediate English
- Experience in the industrial sector required
