About the role

Responsibilities
- Develop plans, specifications, reports, estimates, and conceptual inputs for water/wastewater and water‑resources projects
- Prepare SCADA Sequences of Operations and use CADD tools to produce PFDs, P&IDs, construction drawings, and complete preliminary/final plan sets
- Collaborate with internal/external engineering teams to produce design plans, reports, drawings, BOMs, and technical details
- Execute tasks from senior designers, prepare detailed and layout drawings for complex or original designs and determine material types, specifications, and quantities
- Coordinate with departments, disciplines, clients, vendors, project managers, and engineers to support deliverables
- Prepare Installation Operations Manuals, integrate vendor equipment into system architecture and control schemes
- Read and interpret orthographic (2D) and isometric (3D) designs and apply standard drafting/design principles
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field required
- 0-2 years of engineering design, 3D modeling and CADD workstation experience
- EIT or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite and AutoCAD/Civil 3D
