Responsibilities
UI Development & Iteration: Evolve and enhance existing internal web applications, improving usability, performance, and feature depth.
New Feature Delivery: Build new frontend and backend features that support internal operational and product workflows.
Fullstack Engineering: Design, implement, test, and ship scalable features across the stack with a strong emphasis on clean, maintainable code.
API & Service Development: Develop and extend backend services and APIs that power internal tools and integrations.
Code Quality & Best Practices: Participate in code reviews and technical discussions to uphold engineering standards and improve system reliability.
Operational Support: Participate in a weeklong alternating on-call rotation to support the systems you help build.
Modern Stack Development: Work within a cloud-native environment leveraging technologies such as Go, React, Kubernetes, AWS, gRPC, Postgres, Redis, and Kafka.
Requirements
Fullstack Experience: 3+ years of experience building and shipping production-ready software across the stack.
Backend Strength: Experience building APIs and backend services in a production environment. Experience with Go is a plus.
Frontend Experience: Experience building React-based applications and integrating them with backend APIs.
Engineering Fundamentals: Strong foundation in software engineering principles and a consistent ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
Systems Familiarity: Exposure to cloud-native and distributed systems concepts (e.g., Kubernetes, event-driven systems, Kafka, gRPC/Protobuf).
Collaboration & Communication: Comfortable working with product partners and engineering teammates to deliver scoped features effectively.
Growth Orientation: Eagerness to learn, improve systems incrementally, and take ownership of well-defined projects.
