- Application Developer II responsible for developing and maintaining applications and services at MarshBerry. Collaborating with teams and users to enhance application integrity and functionality.
Responsibilities
- The Application Developer II is responsible for developing and maintaining internally developed applications and services
- Assist and direct other developers in following best practices
- Collaborate with users and teams to identify application issues and develop solutions
- Maintain integrity of data related to all applications utilized by MarshBerry
- Create reports to assist the IT team in making informed decisions
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality
- Develop and execute unit tests and support integration and system testing
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all software applications
- Work with other users and teams to gather requirements and develop and evaluate solutions
- Continue to enhance knowledge of application developer tools and best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred
- 8+ years professional experience in Web application development
- 8 years experience using JavaScript
- 8 years experience using a source control system such as Git or Microsoft TFS
- Experience working in a collaborative team development structure
- Proven organizational and project management skills
- Previous experience creating full-stack web or mobile applications
- Familiarity with .Net backend development in C# and relational database systems such as Microsoft SQL Server
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Self-starter with advanced problem-solving skills
