About the role

  • Corporate Tax Manager at MANN+HUMMEL overseeing global tax reporting and compliance responsibilities. Requires expertise in international tax law and experience in corporate structures.

Responsibilities

  • Global responsibility for and further development of tax reporting (IAS 12, the German Minimum Tax Act – MinStG, and CbCR pursuant to Section 138a of the German Fiscal Code (AO)) in the context of the consolidated financial statements
  • Participation in the preparation and review of tax returns for German group companies (partnerships and corporations)
  • Determination of tax provisions and deferred taxes for domestic companies as part of the annual and consolidated financial statements and for planning and forecasting purposes
  • Further development and maintenance of the existing tool solution (AMANA GTC)
  • Active support as a business partner to group companies on tax matters
  • Expansion and monitoring of the Tax Compliance Management System
  • Participation in the group tax audit

Requirements

  • Successfully completed degree in Business Administration, Law, Taxation, Finance, or a comparable qualification (e.g., Diplom Finanzwirt)
  • Passing the tax advisor exam (Steuerberater) is desirable
  • Several years of professional experience at an international tax advisory firm or in the tax department of an international group
  • Extensive know‑how in income tax law and IAS 12
  • Initial exposure to the German Minimum Tax Act (MinStG) is desirable
  • IT affinity and knowledge of SAP FI are desirable
  • Experience with project management methods and tools is helpful
  • Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as process orientation
  • Independent and structured working approach
  • Assertiveness and ability to work in a team
  • High degree of self‑motivation and excellent communication skills
  • Enjoyment of an international environment and participation in international projects
