About the role
- Build and maintain backend APIs with Ruby on Rails
- Develop responsive, high-quality UIs using Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS
- Integrate AI services (GPT, OCR, automation) into real workflows
- Work directly with the Managing Director to shape and deliver new features
- Own the full development cycle — from concept to deployment on Vercel / Railway
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with Rails + Next.js (React)
- Strong backend and database design skills
- Solid frontend fundamentals: clean code, UX, and performance
- Experience with Redis, background jobs, and API integrations
- A product mindset — you care about outcomes, not just features
- Nice to Have: Experience in e-commerce, logistics, or circular economy
- Worked with AI/LLM APIs (OpenAI, OCR, automation)
- Familiar with Cursor, Linear, and modern CI/CD tools
