- Senior Software Development Engineer in Test at Magnet Forensics responsible for automating testing of products and mentoring colleagues while leading development of quality tools and frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to and advocate for our test strategy;
- Provide technical leadership and mentor colleagues;
- Prioritize and mediate risks related to code quality;
- Independently design and implement internal development tools;
- Help drive AI-first solutions;
- Collaborate closely with our teams and Product Owners to assess and advise on testability during the planning phases;
- Work with our teams to enable faster and higher quality release cycles;
- Present solutions and recommendations for maximum return of quality value across teams and with all levels of leadership;
- Take responsibility for developing your skills to stay up to date within your area of expertise.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in QA and software development
- Ability to define requirements and develop test strategies
- Hands on individual contribution with object oriented programming languages (e.g. java, C#, Python)
- Strong experience in SQL queries
- Experience in mentoring and coaching team members
- Expertise in managing risks related to code quality
- Demonstrated passion for quality
- Proven ability to build trust and influence within a team to drive successful delivery throughout the software development life cycle
- Fluency (Reading, Writing, Speaking) in English. Swedish language skills considered a plus!
