About the role

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and opportunities where AI can generate value
- Design and develop Proofs of Concept (PoCs) using ML and DL techniques to assess feasibility and potential business impact
- Evaluate PoCs regarding accuracy, scalability, and computational efficiency
- Gather stakeholder feedback and iterate on PoCs to address requirements and optimize value
- Analyze PoC results to identify the most promising concepts to advance into productization
- Translate validated PoCs into Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) in collaboration with software engineers and data scientists
- Optimize and fine-tune AI models to meet performance criteria and business objectives
- Conduct testing and validation to ensure MVP stability, reliability, and usability
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate AI capabilities into existing systems or new applications
- Stay updated on AI trends, technologies, and best practices, applying this knowledge to drive innovation
- Document methodologies, processes, and results, creating clear and comprehensive reports for stakeholders
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior AI engineers, fostering knowledge sharing within the team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, or a related field
- Proven experience as an AI Engineer, Machine Learning Engineer, or similar role
- Hands-on experience designing, training, and deploying ML/DL models and working with LLMs
- Experience converting PoCs into MVPs and deploying scalable AI solutions (preferred)
- Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams
- High attention to detail
- Self-driven, proactive, and motivated to continuously learn and explore emerging technologies
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- Portuguese is a plus
