Software Engineer in Test responsible for developing automation solutions in the Anti-Financial Crime & Compliance team at Luminor, a leading bank in the Baltics. Join us in building a local banking champion with exciting technology and testing solutions.
Responsibilities
Write high-quality code to automate repetitive test cases, including functional, regression, and API tests.
Setting up and managing continuous integration and deployment pipelines to ensure automated tests run with every code change.
Participating in developer code reviews to assess testability and identify potential issues before they reach production.
Developing tools to simulate heavy loads (performance testing).
Designing automated solutions to generate, mask, and manage complex datasets to ensure privacy compliance and reduce test dependencies.
Take responsibility for professional self-development and contribute to own and team performance improvement by constructive feedback and relevant suggestions.
Requirements
Strong programming (Python, Java, etc.) skills, knowledge of data structures, algorithms, system design.
Knowledge of AWS MWAA (Apache Airflow) DAGs, concepts, integration with other AWS services.
Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing lifecycle (STLC).
Knowledge of QA tools and processes, including defect tracking tools like JIRA.
Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium or Selenide, TestNG, or Postman, performance testing tools JMeter or Gatling.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and related tools like Jenkins.
Agile mindset with hands-on participation in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and product delivery.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication.
