About the role
- Lead Front-End Software Engineer driving design and implementation of a scalable React architecture for banking systems. Mentor developers and ensure performance and security best practices in a hybrid role.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of a scalable micro-frontend architecture using React
- Establish frontend development standards, tooling, and reusable components
- Contribute to sprint development and define frontend practices
- Mentor other web developers
- Drive development of a new web application for internal back-office users
- Ensure performance, security, and accessibility best practices
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience in frontend development
- Expert-level proficiency in React, including hooks, context, and state management
- Strong experience with micro-frontend architectures (e.g., Module Federation, Webpack, Single-SPA)
- Solid understanding of TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern frontend tooling
- Strong understanding of CSS, SASS, CSS-modules
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks (Vitest, React Testing Library, Playwright), and version control (Git)
- Familiarity with backend integration (REST APIs, GraphQL)
- Knowledge of accessibility standards, performance optimization, and secure coding practices
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Experience in banking or enterprise environments is a plus
- Experience in agentic development is a plus (spec-kit, bmad-method)
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
