- Structural Engineering Lead for bridge design projects in Missouri, fostering positive workplace culture and team development at Lochmueller Group.
Responsibilities
- Play a key role in the growth, leadership, and development of the Missouri Structural team.
- Establish and maintain relationships with DOT and local agency clients, assisting with business development for the Structural Engineering service line.
- Apply extensive knowledge of principles and practices in broad areas of bridge and transportation structures design.
- Perform as a project manager on DOT and local agency bridge design projects.
- Work on major projects or several major projects of moderate scope with complex features.
- Review complete project documents for conformity and quality assurance.
- Assist senior management and staff as a technical specialist or advisor.
- Prepare scopes of work, budgets, and schedules for assignments.
- Prepare proposals and funding applications.
- As opportunities present themselves this role may also be involved in other various projects and responsibilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering; Structural emphasis is helpful
- Professional Engineer (PE)
- 12+ years of Structural Engineering experience with an emphasis on bridge design projects
- Experience with project management and accounting software
- Exceptional organization skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work individually or as part of a team
