About the role

• Junior Web Developer responsible for web development tasks and supporting the Marketing team at LoanPro. Focused on coding, content updates, and ensuring quality across web properties.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Marketing team in the execution and maintenance of LoanPro’s web properties
• Focusing on turning design mockups into functional web pages
• Managing content updates within our Headless CMS
• Ensuring high code quality through rigorous QA
• Taking ownership of deep learning about our software and its functions
• Translating UI/UX design wireframes into high-quality code (HTML, CSS, SCSS, JS)
• Managing and updating content via our Headless CMS (Strapi)
• Conducting routine QA testing across browsers and devices to identify bugs
• Quickly turnaround requests for landing pages, email templates, and web assets
• Assisting in maintaining technical documentation for code, APIs, and development processes
• Assisting in implementing A/B tests and tracking scripts (GTM/GA4) to support the conversion rate optimization process
• Working closely with designers to bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation
• Onsite work to collaborate with other team members, with remote work at manager's discretion

Requirements

• 0-2 years of web development experience (internships and personal projects included)
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and JavaScript (ES6+)
• Familiarity with React or similar JS frameworks
• Basic understanding of Git/Version Control, NPM, and Package Management
• Ability to take a Figma/Adobe XD file and replicate it in code with high attention to detail (pixel perfection)
• A portfolio of web projects (school or freelance) demonstrating clean code and responsive design
• High level of curiosity, "figure it out" attitude, and ability to receive feedback and iterate quickly.
• Preferred: Exposure to Python, Typescript, or Headless CMS environments (Strapi)
• Preferred: Basic knowledge of SEO best practices and web performance standards
• Fluency in the English language (speak, read, and write) required. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment. Innovation and problem-solving skills that include the ability to develop and propose solutions.
