About the role
- Junior Platform Engineering Consultant at Liquid Reply designing and implementing Kubernetes environments. Supporting cloud migrations and CI/CD pipeline automation in diverse tech stacks.
Responsibilities
- Support in the architecture, design and implementation of Kubernetes environments based on bare metal or IaaS platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS, VMware, OpenStack)
- Execute migrations from/to containerized environments and design highly available multi-cloud container orchestration environments
- Implement and automate CI/CD pipelines
- Automated provisioning of environments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Support system and container hardening and the implementation of additional cloud-native security tools
- Share knowledge and create relevant content for clients and prospects about your area of work
Requirements
- Successfully completed university degree in (business) computer science, (business) mathematics, physics or a related field
- Experience with Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD/CKS certification is a plus)
- Knowledge of distributed systems, storage, backup & recovery, scaling and performance optimization
- Understanding of agile methods and the DevOps philosophy; experience automating CI/CD pipelines is advantageous
- Concepts, tools or frameworks such as OpenShift, Mesos, Nomad, Microservices, Cloud Native architectures, Self-Contained Systems are familiar to you
- Very good communication skills in English and German and willingness to travel domestically on occasion
